What makes Cyberponics Inc. so unique is the concept behind the product. It is the plastic grow chambers that house the plants. The chambers slip and twist together on top of each other, forming a vertical column of grow chambers. These columns are grouped together making a wall of grow chambers. A horizontal beam holds the rows of chambers on a wall by brackets or from a free standing cage.
Plants are feed nutrients dissolved in water from a holding tank situated under the rows of chambers. Water is pumped up to the plants, feeding the roots in the chamber and cascading back to the holding tank. By recycling through its irrigation system, it saves over traditional gardening, which loses valuable water through evaporation. The system can be used inside with artificial lighting or used outside in the sun. The vertical design allows a significant increase in the efficiency of light capture and utilization of space.
